The Windows 8.1 Preview is now available as an .iso filehere which can be used for a fresh install in Fusion. Note that VMware Tools will not install automatically; it must be run manually once the Install command from the menu is run. I hope Microsoft has something more up its collective sleeve than this. But apart from the Tools install, it seems to run properly in Fusion so far.
