Hi,
My migration assistant keeps failing on the last step and says, "VMware Fusion was unable to share a folder to receive your migrated PC."
I'm using Fusion 5 on Mac OS X 10.6.8 and migrating a PC running Windows 8. On the PC, I have disabled the firewalls and have disabled UAC. On the mac, I have made sure that the Guest Account can connect to shared folders and turned on file sharing for where the assistant is trying to migrate the PC (a folder called "Virtual Machines" in "Documents".)
Attached is the error support files. This is incredibly frustrating. Please help!
