PixEdit not working under Fusion

I'm using a program called PixEdit. It's a very intensive graphics application for cleaning up scanned images. I just installed it on my Windows 7 64-bit machine under Fusion on my iMac. The software doesn't work. When I open an image with it, it puts itself in a state where it's waiting for some response from me. The pulldown menus don't work. All it lets me do is zoom.
