Disabling automatic guest resizing

Hi -

I just started using VMware Fusion recently on some shiny new Apple hardware to run Windows XP Professional (recycled an old vmdk/vmx from another machine).  It seems to work fine, but I seem to be missing any options that control the resizing of the guest OS.

I've been used to VMware Workstation on Linux, which provides a few options on what to do when a resolution change or a window resize happens.  Usually I've selected the equivalent of "don't change guest resolution" (this stretches or scrunches the guest in fullscreen mode in the case where the guest resolution != the host resolution, and provides scrollbars in windowed mode).

However, on VMware Fusion, it seems to want to resize the guest OS when the VMware Fusion window is resized or fullscreened, automatically.  Although this isn't that big of a deal, I'd rather my guest OS not be forced to change resolution unless I specifically tell it to via Control Panel.  Specifically, I'd like to set the guest to the native resolution of my screen (1366x768) and have it stay like that even if the VMware Fusion window is resized (I'd expect scrollbars to appear, in this case).

To come to the question, I can't seem to find options that allow me to alter the guest OS resize behavior anywhere in VMware Fusion.  I've looked through the preferences and the settings for the individual VM, and found nothing.

Does anyone know if such an option exists in the Fusion product?  If so, where's it hiding?  Maybe I just missed it ...

Thanks!

- Mark
