For crying out loud, I just upgraded to Fusion 5 back in February, and I don't think it came out much before that. And again the upgrade cost is $50.
I know this is a tired complaint falling on deaf ears -- but this really is old. I like to keep software updated, but Fusion 5 actually cost me *more* than $50, because it I had to upgrade the graphics card on my late 2007 MacPro to get decent graphics performance back. It seems Fusion 5 stopped supporting the stock graphics card.
Rather than a bunch of new "features" I seriously doubt many people want -- how about more frequent maintenance releases fixing bugs? For example, I don't believe Mac OS X Guests handle Drag'n'Drop withe the host yet. Or am I mistaken? And Fusion 5 still has problems with Carbon apps in a Snow Leopard guest. Is that still true in Fusion 6?
VMWare -- please stop hitting up your users for such an expensive upgrade every 6-9 months!
