Fusion 6.0.1 has just been released and some quick testing on a variety of VM's suggests it's a major improvement over the initial release.
Everything I've tried (Windows XP through Win 8.1 RP) seems to run a lot faster. Same is true for the one Ubuntu VM I've tried so far. It also plays a lot better with Player 6 when used inside Fusion. For the first time, XPMode in Player inside Win 7 Pro actually functions both quickly and reliably. And, surprisingly, even Windows VM's which already had their space reclaimed in Fusion 6.0.0, found more space to be reclaimed with Fusion 6.0.1.
