I recently upgraded to Mavericks (because hey, free) and noticed that my Windows 8 VM is a little clunky and slow at times. I noticed this happens when Windows Malware Service runs. This never happened before because I have the VM set to use 2 (of 4) cores. Now it seems that there's only 1 core being used because Task Manager only shows 1 CPU.
Can anyone confirm my suspicions or has anyone else seen similar behavior?
I know I should just upgrade to VMWare 6, but I'm waiting for them to offer more reasonable upgrade price. Tired of paying almost full price just to keep Fusion working when we get free upgrades from Apple. Hopefully we'll see something on Black Friday.
