Fusion 6, Mavericks, Multi-Screen: automatic activation of VM in secondary screens (after swiping to VM in one screen)

In Re: VMWare Fusion 6.01 - Auto deskstop space switching bug? a VMWare employee has mentioned "The only non-standard window activation we do is to bring all the sibling windows of a mulitmon fullscreen VM to front when one gets "grabbed", and that wouldn't shift the grabbed one out."

I've recently moved from Parallels 9 (due to some unexpected massive data corruption bug) to VMware and this nonstandard behavior is causing quite a few headaches here. There wouldn't be any way to disable the automatic switching on multiple desktops?

(My use case: I sometimes like to switch only one of my desktops/screens/monitors into Windows and transfer data between Mac and Windows ... basically: I'd like to be able to interact with applications on both sides (Windows and Mac) without VMWare switching all screens to Windows whenever I click there ...)

Thanks,

-Ingo
