Hi all –
First time I have posted here, which one could interpret to mean that my Fusion install has been solid in the three years I have been using it, and that person would be right. Everything was rock-solid until Mavericks*. Multi-tasking was incredibly slow. Flipping out of Fusion for a <20 seconds and then coming back to it would make Fusion crrrraaaawwwwwlll for about 5-10 minutes and then it would suddenly speed up and get back to normal. The apps I need to use in MS are very simple, so it's not like that's it. (I have been at 1 processor core and 1GB of RAM for it for as long as I have used it with no issues.) So, some research here, and App Nap appears to be the culprit. I went cmd-I on it and disabled App Nap, but no improvement. I took a look in Activity Monitor and Fusion never gets more than 16 MB of memory. Well, duh, there's the problem. Is there a way to force more memory to Fusion?
Thanks,
Micah
