Hello.
I start using VMware Fusion about a year ago with OS X Mountain Lion.
Upgraded to Mavericks and turned off App Nap for VMware.
I use Windows for a small limited tasks, like launching some enterprise applications with SQL Server.
On Windows machine, have no antivirus, turned off restore points, turned off automatic updates ... no services running on the background.
Since Mavericks upgrade, every time I suspend and start again, the virtual machine is so slow that it is impossible to work.
Checked Task Manager and CPU and memory usage looks fine ... but the machine works on a bad slow motion.
The only way to work fine is restarting the virtual machine.
Virtual Machine has:
1 processor core
2048 MB for Memory
Virtual Memory is set to automatically manage page file, and has currently allocated 2047 MB.
Primary Virtual Disk (vmdk) on 60 GB
Secondary Virtual Disk (vmdk) on 60 GB
No automatic snapshots
MacBook Pro has:
Mavericks 10.9
2.9 GHz Intel Core i7
8 GB RAM
Any suggestions to solve this problem?
Thanks.
