Can Mountain Lion use VPN established on guest machine

I found this thread from a few years ago but really could not tell if this addressed my issue and it never went into how to do it

http://communities.vmware.com/message/766213#766213

My situation is the following

Using Mountain LIon on Mackbook Air

I have a client that offers VPN onto their intranet when I am offsite (which is going to be the next 8 weeks) but it is Window only.  I am using a Win 7 VM.  The VPN requirs a USB token. It uses Cisco AnyConnect Mobility Client and something called Safenet Authentication client.

This works fine when I am not at the client site but it forces me to do everything on the VM that needs to connect to their servers.

I need to connect to Oracle database, applications, Microsoft Sharepoint, Lotus Notes, Lotus Sametime, on and on.  Many of the things I need to coneect to work fine on the Mac, in fact mostly better, when I am at their site connected to their wire using their proxy server.

I really want to be able to use the Mac OS when I need to connected via VPN.

I have tried several searches but don't know if I am using the right terminology to find the answer or if I have seen it and just not recognized it or if it truly is not possible to share a VPN connnection from a Virtual Machine with my host.

Thanks in advance for your help
