I was hoping that someone would be help me restore my early version of VMware fusion 1.1? I have an old Mac OS X version 10.6.8, and recently transferred everything to a new hard drive. I have years of work on there, and 3D designs using Autodesk Maya. Everytime I try to load VMware fusion 1.1 and hit Windows XP Professional button, the message "do not forget to install tools" comes up.
When I press "Install VMware tools" and it look like its loading, I get this message "unrecoverable error" that comes up (see below). Does anyone have any suggestions? I would really appreciate the help!
