Hello,
I have upgrade to Mavericks and Fusion 6 because I saw that was recommended for Mavericks. Now I have a couple of problems with fullscreen and I do not know which of the two is the culprit. In Mountain Lion / Fusion 5, I could after putting my VM (debian) in fullscreen, switch to a space and use in the Docks VMware icon: Options -> Assign To -> This Desktop, to move back the vm to this desktop, which allowed a quick shortcut, e.g. ⌘4 to switch to my VM. That option does not work anymore and I cannot find how to assign a direct keyboard shortcut to my VM. Furthermore, the fullscreen VM now seems entirely modal, i.e. if I need to open a mac application by shortcut, which I sometimes do for notes, terminal or finder access, I'm now thrown out of that fullscreen VM desktop.
Is there a way for Fusion to go fullscreen, or at least fill the screen with my VM, without creating a new Desktop? Is there a way for the fullscreen to be non-modal? Or alternatively, is there a way to use a direct keyboard shortcut to the new desktop created when the VM goes in fullscreen?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
kybus
