I have Linux (Centos 5) running in a VM on a Macbook Pro retina 15 inch running Mavericks.
I have an FPGA development board attached to a USB port.
The device is supposed to mimic a serial port device on the USB port.
The device shows up in the VMware Fusion config interface as: "Future Devices FT232R USB UART".
My question is what device I should use under Linux (Centos 5).
And how I should access the device.
I hope to see a login prompt on the serial port from the attached device.
I don't want to provide a login prompt for the local Linux OS on the line.
