I just PAID for Fusion 6 and I have two download choices: light and McAfee. I want all the vmTools but I definitely DO NOT want McAfee.
The manual says:
You can select the full version or the light version. The full version has the VMware Tools suite of utilities
for all supported operating systems, and the light version has VMware Tools for Windows and Mac OS X
Server only. The VMware Fusion application itself is the same in both versions, but reducing the coverage
for VMware Tools makes the light version disk image half the size of the full version.
Since Fusion is a paid license, why am I getting crapware rammed down my throat? If I download the full version of Fusion with all the versions of vmTools and McAfee, when does McAfee pester me, every time I open a Windows VM?
What if I want to install a Linux guest? It sounds like the light version won't have the right vmTools. Will it? Why are you doing this to us?
