I have held off upgrading to Fusion 6 till now.
I am running Fusion 5.0.4 on multiple devices and have foound Fusion 5.0.4 production quality stable when hosted under Mt Lion 10.8.5 for all VM guests I have used except perhaps virtualized instances of Maverick. I do have one Maverick server instance running on top of a Mt Lion based workstation and it appears stable but is thrown system.log errors about bad hardware ID number. Something about the length of the hardware ID as I recall.
So my question for the community:
1) Is Fusion 6.0.2 as stable as 5.0.4 running under Mt. Lion?
2) Are there any conversion issues that I should take note of - not wanting to go thru unnecessary pain of re-learning the lessons the community has allready learned.
3) I have not yet upgrade a host to Mavericks that is serving as a platform for Fusion but it is about time to make this jump. Anyone believe I should not or any important important notes. I'm about to field a new MacMiniServer 16GB/240 GB SSD plus 1TB HD that will host one or two VMs. It will be a Mavericks Server with a Mt Lion Server instance on top to run a seperately hosted database server. Anyone have this configuration and any noteworthy issues?
