Poor performance in Windows 7 VM after upgrading to Fusion 6

Hi,

I have an iMac (late 2006 model) running Mac OS X Lion.

After I upgraded my Fusion 3 to 6, my Windows 7 VM's performance deteriorated. It is no longer usable when running in Aero theme.

I had updated the VM format and the VMware Tools in my VM as well. I had to change to the basic theme to get it to a working condition. Even with this theme, it is not performing as well as it was in Fusion 3. I had no problem running Aero theme in Fusion 3.

Are there any settings I need to enable or change?
