local path for mirrored folders

I have mirroring set up for the Documents folder but the path is "\\vmware-host\Shared Folders\Documents\misc" instead of "C:\user\Me\Documents\misc".

Is there anyway to make the mirrored folder use a local type path as one of my programs can't (won't) compile a file with a network path.
