When I plug in a usb stick, I get the option to use with guest or host. I choose my guest os. Mounting the device is slower than normal, and when I sync/umount, it's really slow. I ran iostat 1 while the sync was taking place and it was running slow, stalling, running slow, stalling. I'm using USB 3.0. The mac has usb 3.0 hardware. Does anyone have any idea on how to diagnose this? Is anyone else experiencing anything similar?
