I made a copy of my VM, as I am looking to upgrade from XP to 7 and would like XP version if any program issues, etc.
When I open the copy, I can run programs as normal, etc. - however, I can't seem to make any links to either open programs in the copy from my mac (it want's to open original VM file) ...and when I use the Application menu in VM - it wants to link me to the same file in the Original VM. My thought is each VM would be independent - so if I wanted to open a file in 7 I could....or XP I could.
how do I get my mac files to just open programs in the version I copied? thanks for the help
