Network settings for virtual test environment

Hi there,

My English is not good. Please excuse any errors. I 'm stuck and hope someone has the experience and can help me .

Here's what I would like to implement :

I want to build a virtual test environment. The environment will consist of a Windows Server 2012 as a domain controller (DC) and a

Windows Server 2012 as a member server. More on that later come naturally more clients.

The virtual systems are to be connected in a virtual network with each other. About the domain controller to access

via my Mac to the Internet .

The other systems will then also have an internet connection on the virtual DC.

The DC is virtually equipped with everything (DNS, DHCP , etc.).

How do I set the / network adapter in VMware ? The virtual address range should be different than the physical "real" network.

In VMware Fusion have I following adapter - options:

- Internet sharing : Is the standard , so that a virtual client comes from the Mac to the Internet.

- Automatic detection : The virtual machine appears as an additional computer on the physical network .

- Ethernet: Use the Ethernet port to the guest

- WLAN: Use of wireless for the guest

- Private on my Mac : A VPN for Mac (?)

I just do not know further. Does anyone have any advice or knows a comprehensive guide on the internet? I am thankful for every tip ...

Best Regards

Tobi
