Multiple monitors without Unity

Hi guys,

Been running Fusion Pro 6 for a few weeks now and very happy so far. Up until now I've been using a MBP 13" with a single external monitor using thunderbolt to DVI adaptor. Got a second external monitor today and I'm having a play around with my options for setting up the external displays. What I'd ideally like to do is to not use Unity, but have both external monitors used by the VM. I still want them to register as two separate monitors, not just one big one, so I can have reference documents on one side and what I'm working on on the other side, and down below the host machine running on the MBP screen.

I can kind of achieve this with unity, but there's a few little niggles - most prominently the fact that I then can't view the desktop of the VM. I'm just wondering if there's a way to do it in Single Window mode, and tell the VM that it has two monitors? (the fact that it's called "single window" doesn't give me much hope )

I'm running Windows 8.1 mostly, but will also be running Windows 7 from time to time. Both 64 bit versions, if that's of any relevance.

Thanks!
