Hi,
My wife has the following, reoccurring problem with Windows 8.1 and VMware Fusion 6 on a MBP 15" Retina:
- As soon as she turns on Windows 8.1, the screen resolution changes to the highest resolution possible on the computer.
- She starts working in Excel. At some point the computer hangs. After that an error message pops up which says something like "program stopped responding". Her only two choices are "end process" or "cancel".
- The program sometimes closes, sometimes nothing happens, but no matter what the task bar and all icons disappear.
- She then only has the option to force quit VMware Fusion to start Windows again.
This started to happen after a Windows update last week.
I don't have the issue running Windows 7 and VMware Fusion 5
Does anybody know what's going on and how to fix that?
