Transferring Boot Camp to new Macintosh won't let me take ownership

I've transferred by Time Machine to a new Mac, and when opening my Boot Camp VM, the first time I copy it over every time it shows "in use", do I want to take ownership or cancel? I say take ownership, then receive the error " unable to open file boot camp.vmdk.... the system cannot find the file specified". It is not open on my old machine.

Please Help!!
