Hello!
My mission is simple: Get the right keyboard mapping so that all special characters like '<', '{' and '[' is mapped correctly as on my mac in windows 7, and that the cmd-button is the windows key.
What I would like is a simple step-by-step method to achieve this. I have tried a custom layout that some norwegian had made, but this does not work for [ ] and { } which is the most important keys, as I will be doing programming in Visual Studio on the Windows virtual machine. I have tried following this guide: http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=1005578, which states that I should choose Norwegian (Apple), but this is only visible as a result of the custom layout the norwegian guy made. As soon as i uninstall this .msi-extension, no such keyboard layout is available.
I have a norwegian keyboard layout on a Macbook Pro Retina and running Fusion 5. The virtual image is a Bootcamp Partition.
Any help will be appreciated.
