Trouble importing a Vista PC using Migration Assistant with Fusion 6.

I am trying to use Migration Assistant with Fusion 6 to migrate my old PC running Windows Vista Home Premium x 64 to my mac.  Every time I try to attempt to do the migration, I get to the point where I have named the VM on the Mac, and after I enter credentials I get an error message on the mac side that says

"An error occurred" "unable to connect to the network share 192.168.11.11\vmwareMigration139"

(the number on the end changes every time).

The curious thing is that 192.168.11.11 is the Mac that I am attempting to do the import on.

I have done the following:

1) Installed Fusion 6 on my Mac running 10.9.1

2) Installed the VMWare Fusion PC Migration Assistant on my Vista PC

3) Rebooted the PC after it told me it needed to disable EUC.

4) Disabled the firewall on windows

5) Disabled the AV software

6) Validated that the firewall is off on the Mac

7) Validted that AV is off on the Mac

Other items of interest:

- I have a direct connection (Ethernet) between the Mac and the PC and am able to ping between them on the "Private" network.

- I have attempted the migration both over the Ethernet (wired) and wireless networks with no luck.

- I tried to use the direct IP of both interfaces on the PC, and the "code" that comes up to make things easier, with no luck.

Can anyone help me on where I might have gone wrong here?

Thanks.
