Hi. I'm running VMware Fusion 4.1.4. in OSX Mavericks with Win XP Home Edition and a couple of smallish programs in the virtual machine but the virtual machine takes up 14.5 GB of the precious 120 GB space on my MacBook Air. It appears that the Windows XP Home Edition. vmwarevm contains lots of hidden files called Windows XP Home Edition-sxxx.vmdk each of which is around 2 GB - see attached screenshot. My question is, are these duplicates and what can I do to minimise the space the VM takes up? Many thanks
