Hi Guys,
I recently got a Mac and am pretty new to it.
I had vmware Fusion 6.0.2 and upgraded to 6.0.3.
During the end of the update, a dialog popped saying "would you update vmnet" or some message like that, without reading it fully (sorry!) I clicked yes, and then another similar dialog popped up and I clicked yes again. Then a dialog popped up saying the running VM needs to be suspended, and I clicked yes. After this, the OS crashed and I got a white screen, then I rebooted.
My questions are:
(1) Does vmware fusion install any drivers that may alter or affect the behavior of MacOS? Does it install any host-side (Mac) drivers at all?
(2) I don't seem to remember the message that I clicked a yes to (something would you update vmnet or some message like that). Any idea what that message was?
(3) Would my Mac OS installation at this point be in any inconsistent state?
Thanks,
-Joel
