I'm trying to figure out why I have such poor performance with Windows 8.1 under Fusion. I have a 2.8Ghz rMBP with 16GB of RAM. RAM isn't really an issue and there isn't anything running in OSX using a lot of CPU.
I generally use Fusion to use MS Visio for work and started up my 64-bit 8.1 instance and launching Visio takes minutes. The mouse is also very slow. During this time Fusion is using >100% CPU.
The other complaint I have is in the "Retina" mode the Desktop looks fine but the Windows 8.1 start screen is so tiny I can't see anything. Is there an easy way to fix that?
