Hope you can help me out: Have a macbook air 2013 running mavericks and bootcamp, but also use a virtual machine built from my bootcamp partition. Following issue: I was shown driverupdates in windows update so i decided to install them (usb 3.0, chipset etc.). Since then, whenever i boot up windows 7 i neither have keyboard nor mouse. In vmware in contrast, everything works fine. I tried to uninstall the bootcamp drivers but it says critical error as soon as i try to start the apropriate uninstaller In device manager there are no undetected devices but no usb 3.0 driver, only usbroothub, generic usb etc. The whole devicemanager looks different in my vm than the one in my bootcamp. Most of the entries i dont even know. Any idea how to reinstall the bootcamp drivers successfully? I tried extracting all the drivers included in the newest bootcamp setup package and install things like intel usb 3.0 manually but intel's setup says the version doesnt fullfill the system requirements. Any idea how to get that working again? in safemode i dont have keyboard/mouse either and it doesnt seem to recognize usb devices in bootcamp either.
