Hi, I am currently having issues with my Windows XP SP3 build in VMWare Fusion Professional 6.0.4, any USB storage devices that are connected to this build is not recognised - almost like a driver is missing. I have VMWare tools installed. USB storage devices such as USB Flash Drives or USB external drives which are USB3.0. While on my Windows 8 build this works perfectly fine. I am wondering if this is a limitation of Windows XP itself? I have tried everything from having the port as USB1.1 or 2.0 within VMWare configuration with the issue still there. I have not tried other USB devices (other then storage devices) on the Windows XP build yet - though the intention is to have a lean Windows XP build for my old games and emulators.
My spec's are, Macbook Air 2013 4GB 120GB SSD with OSX Mavericks 10.9.4 VMWare Fusion 6.0.4 with Windows XP SP3 base build. I also have a separate Windows 8.1 build which works perfectly.
