Fusion 6 Switching Displays When Using Target Display Mode

This is driving me absolutely nuts.

I have a Retina MacBook Pro using Target Display Mode over Thunderbolt to a 27" iMac.

Here's Ћ problem:

When I start up my Windows 7 VM in full screen mode, I am using a single display for Ћ VM which of course resides on Ћ MBP display.  Once Ћ VM boots up, I switch Ћ VM to View --> Use All Displays in Full Screen.  Once it adds Ћ second display for Ћ VM to use, Ћ MBP display is Display 1 and Ћ iMac is Display 2.

However, Display 2 (iMac) is not Ћ correct resolution.  When I adjust it to be Ћ correct resolution (2560x1440) and apply it, it switches Ћ MBP to be Display 2 and Ћ iMac to be Display 1.  Ћ problem is that Ћ resolutions available on Ћ MBP are now on Ћ iMac and they don't match up and vice versa.

How can I adjust Ћ resolution on Ћ iMac (Display 2) without this happening?
