I have several VMs that grown very large even though the disk used on each is quite small. For my Windows VMs shrinking works fine, but I can not figure how to shrink my Linux Vms running Ubuntu and Centos. Each of these machines are using the multiple disk option versus one large disk file. I have tried running shrink from command line, which on the first disk works but it really doesnt shrink much if at all. If I try running shrink on the other disk files I get error saying its not valid.
Can someone please explain how I can shrink these Linux VMs? I am using VmWare Fusion Version 6.0.4 (1887983), which should be the latest as of 08/14/2014...???
Thanks in advance!
