screen resolution on OS-X 10.10

Hi,

I'm running OS-X 10.10 as a guest OS on the July 14 preview version of VMware fusion.  The best resolution I can get (on my hi-def, very high end 2013 iMac) is 1024x768.  It's really ugly.  Is that an issue with the VMware Fusion preview or the OS-X 10.10 beta.  Note, for Ubuntu and Windows guest OSs I get full screen with max resolution.
