I moved a Windows XP Professional VM from one MacBook to another. Everything seems to work just fine except I get the following error message when I log in and also when I try to navigate to any folder:
.host\Shared Folders\My Desktop is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
Access is denied.
My desktop icons have disappeared and I cannot save documents to the Windows desktop.
"
.host\Shared Folders" appears as Network Drive z: It has a folder named "My Desktop" inside, but when I click on it, I get an error message: "Z:\My Desktop is not accessible. Access is Denied." The properties for this folder are marked "Read only," but when I clear the check box, I still get the same error message.
How do I fix this? Thanks
