Cannot create a new VM in Fusion 6.0.2 (1398658)

I'm unable to create a new VM; the process gets stuck on a blank screen:

1. File > New...

2. More options...

3. Create a custom virtual machine

4. Blank 'Welcome' screen

Clicking 'Continue' does nothing.
