Boot Camp partition issue, Fusion 5.0.5 and Yosemite OS X

I manually uninstalled 5.0.5 per the KB article I found, then reinstalled it.  After firing it up I did an Import on my Boot Camp partition.  I get a dialog box that says "VMware Fusion is preparing your Boot Camp partition to run as a virtual machine. This may take a few minutes. This will only happen once."

Which is fine except this dialog box has been showing for over an hour.  Is that normal for a 45GB VM on the faster Mac laptop (latest model) available?
