Running Fusion 5.05 with Windows 7
My Macbook Air is my first Mac, my job requires heavy full time use of this laptop running Windows 7 in VMWare. All is working great and my Macbook shows no signs of wear and tear in it's first 2 years of heavy use. I'm trying to decide what do to as far as upgrades now that Yosemite is out. Seems like I've got a couple, or more, choices.
1. Load Yosemite and buy the latest VMWare Fusion product. Would my VM's created in Fusion 5.5 run under Yosemite/new Fusion?
2. Perhaps it's time to sit tight and avoid Yosemite and the Fusion upgrades north of 5.5 until my Macbook dies. What's the down side to this strategy?
This is my first experience with Macbooks and Fusion, thank you for your advice!
