I have VMware Fusion 5.0.5 on a new Mac and I want to copy about 1.5 TB of files from a Mac OS Extended (Journaled) HDD to an empty 2TB HDD formatted as NTSC connected to my Win 7 virtual machine. I started in my usual way when I copy files which is just dragging the files from Finder to Windows Explorer but pretty soon I got the informative message "Cannot write file to virtual machine. Cancelling the file copy operation. OK"
No, not really OK.
Is there a way of copying this amount of data using VMware fusion? If not should I look at another product? Err, which...?
