I use the Mac -> System Preferences -> Display -> Resolution to "scaled" and one right of "Best (Retina)" (toward "More Space"). That is, fonts are one step smaller than default.
I use Windows 7 (in Fusion with "Use full resolution for Retina display" checked) full screen and with it's resolution set to 1920x1200 (not the retina maximum).
(These settings makes the fonts on both relative similar in size.)
After the Yosemite upgrade, in Windows 7 the mouse is miss-aligned to the left on window vertical edges and to the top above horizontal edges. This error was NOT present before the Yosemite upgrade.
If I change the Mac -> System Preferences -> Display -> Resolution to "scaled" and "Best (Retina)", the mouse in Win 7 aligns correctly with window edges.
VMware, I'm happy to run more tests.
