This happens whenever I restart windows guest OS or move back to full screen mode from OS X. It is really irritating and I'm thinking of junking VMWare altogether.
I've set the preferences
pref.autoFitGuestToWindow = "FALSE"
pref.autoFitFullSceen = "stretchGuestToHost"
but does not seem to do anything.
