I bought a brand new iMac Retina (mainly for VMware Fusion to run faster). I used the iMac's auto migration tool. All relevant files look in tact and in the proper locations. I launch VMware Fusion and it shows a window to locate my existing "A Windows XP Home Edition". I navigate to the "Virtual Machine" folder but the appropriate file is grey and cannot be selected. I also navigated to the same file on the networked MacBook Pro and it, too, is greyed out.
Can anyone identify this issue and have a solution?
