Unity View and multiple displays

Hi,

I have a macbook air with with display extended to two additional monitors (for a total of 3 screens). Because the graphics card only natively supports two screens, I have an Ultra displaylink adapter that is helping me add the third screen. Natively on the mac, no issues. However, when I try to run my Win7 vm in unity view, I get an error that states:

"For best compatibility, shut down the virtual machine, upgrade the virtual hardware compatibility to the latest version, and ensure that VMware Tools are up to date."

My system setup is as follows:

Host: Macbook Air 13 running Yosemite

VMware: Fusion, Professional Version 7.1.0 (2314774)

Guest VM: Windows 7 Professional SP1

VMware tools installed last week, ran a repair on them this afternoon with no improvement.

Displaylink drivers installed on both Mac and Win7 VM.

Any suggestions on how to get Unity view to work again?

Thanks,
