Unable to install VMware tools in Win 2012 R2 guest

Hi all,

just upgraded from Fusion 7.0.1 to 7.1.0 because i thought it would fix this problem:

After setting up the Win 2012 R2 guest i try to install the vmware tools choosing the option in the Virtual machine menu. But i always get the message "vmware tools not available for this guest" (hope the translation is exactly the same from my german fusion installation...).

Only the Win 2012 R2 seams to be affected. Linux, Win XP/7, OS X works fine.

Any idea?
