VMWare Fusion Newbie Questions

Hello,

I currently own the following and have Windows 8.1 installed in a bootcamp partition and looking at moving to VMWare Fusion.

Model Name: MacBook Pro

  Model Identifier: MacBookPro6,2

  Processor Name: Intel Core i7

  Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz

  Number of Processors: 1

  Total Number of Cores: 2

L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB

  L3 Cache: 4 MB

  Memory: 8 GB

  Processor Interconnect Speed: 4.8 GT/s

  Boot ROM Version: MBP61.0057.B0F

  SMC Version (system): 1.58f17

  Sudden Motion Sensor:

  State: Enabled

As you may be aware there was/is an issue between Windows 8.1 and Nvidia which cause repeated crashes of the Nvida driver in Windows 8.1 and unfortunately there is just finger pointing between Nvidia and MSFT.  I am hoping running Windows 8.1 in Fusion will end the repeated crashes that I am seeing in bootcamp.

I need to the know what is the best way to install and configure VMWare Fusion 7 for the following scenario.

I spend about 90% of my time working in the Windows OS

I have multiple Monitors that I would like to be able to use with Fusion.  I would like to be able to use all the monitors in fusion if needed or any combination between the two systems as needed

Do I install in Unity or isolated?

Thanks for the help
