Importing version 2 machine into Fusion version 5 ?????

I just installed Fusion version 5.0.2 on my new Mac Pro (Mountain Lion 10.8.2) and I am trying to import an XP machine from my iMac (Snow Leopard 10.6.8) that was using an older version of Fusion (version 2.0.8). However the machine is grayed out and therefore I can't import them.

Question, can I use a machine that was already created in version 2 and use it with version 5? If so what is the best method?
