I've created an Ubuntu 14.10 VM and installed open-vm-tools. I've also selected "Use full resolution for Retina display" under display settings.
Everything is very crisp, but the icons and text are now so small that I need to squint to do anything. When I don't select that setting, the interface elements are larger, but everything looks "non-retina." Is there a way to scale the display up so that I still have the crispness of the retina display but the interface elements are larger? Perhaps something similar to the "Best for display" setting on the Mac?
Thanks!
