Problem: i disable the onscreen keyboard icon in the taskbar. I reboot: it's still not there. - So far, so good.
As soon as i shutdown the VM and then resume it, the keyboard icon is shown again! -> Bug !?
It's not a big issue, but annoying.
Because of the fact that windows correctly remembers the disabled onscreen keyboard icon during reboots, i assume this has to be something vmWare specific.
I have installed Windows 8 Professional Update (GER, x64) as a "clean install" to a brand new VM (4-core, 6192 RAM, 3D enabled).
Compter specs: MacBook Pro 2011, 16 GB RAM, i7 2.2 GHz.
I have installed Start8 (coz W8 is absolutly useless to me without start menu ... ).
p.s. i *love* vmWare fusion and in my eyes it is the clear (!) winner between Parallels and Virtualbox especially under the stability aspect. Keep up the great work, guys!
