Running XP Pro with Fusion Version 2.0.4 (159196) on a Mac Book Air.
While working on XP, the Macbook air crashed - competely powered off in a split second and then i had to power up again. after this my outlook inbox.pst file was corrupted. in order to fix it i tried to run scanpst.exe, outlooks repair tool, but at 37percent of scan, i get the Windows XP Professional-000001.vmdk failed message and i am forced to abort, at which point the guest reboots automatically.
i then tried to copy the inbox.pst file on to a external drive and also onto the shared mac folder. the same thing happened again at around the same 37 percent mark.
therefore i cannot get the file of the mac as it crashes every time. does any one know of another way to get the file out, or fix the error. i also tried to zip the .pst file and it crashed at the same point too.
