I'm about to invest in a new mac. I currently run OS 10x6.8 (snow leopard) but it seems I'll need an upgrade if I want to use Fusion. I'll keep Snow Leopard - as is - for editing.
So - If I were to get a new mac and install yosemeti what mac should I get? According to the mac store there are a number of machines that can handle yosemiti.
Currently I use a Mac Pro for editing purposes and it is wonderful but it might be more than I need for my purposes. The only thing I need to run anymore on a windows platform is Quicken. Due to the negative comments about windows 8 I would like to get Windows 7.
So - what do you suggest I invest in to get my quicken up and running within VM? I'm currently using Quicken 2014 that works great on Windows XP but the PC just has too many other issues; plus intuit won't be servicing XP for much longer.
